"Psalm 94:20 — Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?"

Yes. By January 6, 2021, law enforcement absolutely had well-established capability to track cell phones using pings, historical cell-site location information (CSLI), GPS data, app metadata, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth logs, and geofence warrants. These techniques were not experimental or new at that time. They had been in routine use for years by the FBI and other agencies, were validated repeatedly in federal courts, and were actively used during 2020–2021 to identify, locate, and arrest January 6 defendants across the country based on phone location data, even when video or eyewitness evidence was weak. The technology existed, the legal framework existed, and the operational expertise existed at that moment in time.
"Proverbs 12:19 — Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment."

Short answer: you cannot prove they were lying without internal documents or testimony, but their explanation strains credibility to the breaking point. By January 2021, the FBI unquestionably knew how to interpret T-Mobile location data in general. They had used similar carrier data, CSLI, pings, and geofence-style analysis for many years and were actively doing so in other January 6 investigations at the same time. So the claim that they suddenly did not know how to interpret such data is, at minimum, highly implausible.

There are only a few realistic possibilities. One, the statement is misleading rather than technically false, meaning they may have understood the data but found it incomplete, poorly formatted, outside the warrant scope, or not legally usable for prosecution, yet summarized this as "we couldn't interpret it." Two, the bureau deprioritized or slow-walked analysis for institutional or political reasons and later framed that decision as a technical limitation. Three, there was genuine internal confusion or bureaucratic failure, which would still represent extraordinary incompetence given their demonstrated capabilities elsewhere. What is least plausible is the literal claim that the FBI, as an institution, did not know how to read or use T-Mobile location data in 2021.

In plain terms, reasonable people are justified in being skeptical. When an agency demonstrates high technical competence in one set of cases and then claims technical incapacity in another case involving an attempted mass-casualty attack, the burden of proof shifts to the agency. Absent transparent documentation, sworn testimony, or released technical details, the statement reads more like damage control than a full explanation.

'We are cleaning up a diseased temple': FBI fires agents over Jack Smith's scheme to spy on Republican senators " WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

https://www.wnd.com/2025/10/we-are-cleaning-up-diseased-temple-fbi-fires/

"Now, a report at Fox explains the FBI "has already terminated employees and abolished the CR-15 squad just one day after it was revealed that several Republicans' private communications and phone calls had been tracked."

FBI chief Kash Patel confirmed the moves.

"
We are cleaning up a diseased temple three decades in the making — identifying the rot, removing those who weaponized law enforcement for political purposes and those who do not meet the standards of this mission while restoring integrity to the FBI. I promised reform, and I intend to deliver it," he told Fox."

Prayers πŸ™ for Kashyap “Kash” Pramod Patel

Early Life and Family Background

KKashyap "Kash" Pramod Patel was born on February 25, 1980, in Garden City, New York. His family is of Gujarati Indian origin, belonging to the Patidar community. His father, Pramod Patel, and family had earlier lived in Uganda before being expelled under the anti-Asian policies of Idi Amin in the early 1970s.

After migration, the family eventually settled in the United States. Kash was raised Hindu. He grew up in Garden City, Long Island. His household included extended family — his father's many siblings — and he has spoken about summers working as a caddie, playing ice hockey from a young age, and being exposed to legal‐oriented conversations (e.g. through people he saw in his community). As for early schooling, he attended Garden City High School.

Education

For college, Patel attended the University of Richmond, graduating in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and history.  He then earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Pace University School of Law in 2005. He also received a certificate in international law from University College London.

Legal Career & Early Professional Life

After law school, in 2005, Patel began working as a public defender in Florida (Miami-Dade County), and later as a federal public defender in the Southern District of Florida. He handled a variety of cases including serious criminal offenses, such as narcotics trafficking and murder, among others.
In 2012-2014 he moved into the Department of Justice (DOJ) as a national security prosecutor. In that capacity, he worked on counterterrorism issues, including investigations related to al-Qaeda, ISIS, and other terrorist actors.

Political / Government Roles

In 2017, Patel became a staffer for U.S. Representative Devin Nunes, who chaired the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI). He played a role in the drafting of the "Nunes Memo," which alleged FBI/DOJ bias in surveillance activities relating to the 2016 election. He also held roles in the National Security Council and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and later served as Chief of Staff to Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller.

Current Role: Director of FBI

On February 20, 2025, Kash Patel was confirmed as the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He is sometimes described as the 9th director under the current structure. Prior to that, between February and April 2025, he also served as Acting Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

Public / Personal Life & Relationships

There is less public information about his personal relationships (romantic or otherwise). Some news sources refer to a relationship or dating interest outside of politics, but the substantive verified biographical sources (e.g. Britannica, FBI website) don't provide confirmed, detailed information about a spouse or children. He is known to enjoy ice hockey (playing and coaching), and other extracurricular interests from earlier life.

Character, Public Reputation, and Controversies

Patel has been a controversial figure, especially due to his strong association with Republican politics, his role in investigations about alleged "deep state" and intelligence community oversight, and skepticism from some over his lack of long experience within the FBI itself prior to becoming its director.

Supporters point to his legal and national security credentials, prosecutorial work, and experience in legislative oversight. Critics raise concerns about impartiality, politicization, and the transformation of law enforcement under his leadership.

Prayers πŸ™ for Dan Bongino

Early Life and Education
Daniel John Bongino was born December 4, 1974 in Queens, New York City. He is of Italian descent. He attended Archbishop Molloy High School, a Catholic all-male school in Jamaica, Queens, graduating in 1992. He went on to Queens College of the City University of New York, where he earned both a bachelor's and a master's degree in psychology. Later, he also got a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Pennsylvania State University.

Law Enforcement Career
Bongino began his public service career with the New York City Police Department in 1995, serving as an officer for about four years until 1999. In 1999 he joined the United States Secret Service as a special agent. Early on, he worked in the New York field office handling tasks like investigating various federal crimes, then moved in 2002 to teach as an instructor at the Secret Service Training Academy in Beltsville, Maryland. In 2006 he was assigned to the Presidential Protective Division—he stayed on presidential protection through both the George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations. He left the Secret Service in 2011 to pursue a political career.

Political Bids
After leaving the Secret Service, Bongino ran for public office multiple times as a Republican. He ran for the U.S. Senate from Maryland in 2012; for the U.S. House of Representatives in Maryland in 2014; and later in Florida in 2016. None of these bids were successful.

Media and Public Commentary Career
Following his political attempts, Bongino shifted focus more heavily into media and commentary. He became a conservative radio host, podcast host, author, and frequent television guest/commentator. Some of his books include Life Inside the Bubble: Why a Top-Ranked Secret Service Agent Walked Away From It All and The Fight: A Secret Service Agent's Inside Account of Security Failings and the Political Machine.

He launched The Dan Bongino Show, a podcast/radio show, and over time built a large following. He also launched the "Bongino Report," an online news aggregation site meant to offer a conservative alternative to sites like the Drudge Report. He was a contributor on Fox News beginning around 2019, and in 2021 he started hosting Unfiltered with Dan Bongino, a Saturday night show. In April 2023 he parted ways with Fox News after contract negotiations failed.

He's been a polarizing figure, known for outspoken conservative commentary, strong support for Donald Trump, and engaging in criticism of left-leaning media and what he sometimes terms the "deep state." Some of his commentary has been controversial—there are accusations from critics of exaggeration or of propagating unsubstantiated claims.

Recent Position & Present Role
In February 2025, President Donald Trump announced that Bongino would become the Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He officially assumed the role on March 17, 2025. Unlike the FBI Director, this position does not require Senate confirmation.

Because of this shift, he stepped back from many of his media roles (e.g. his show on Fox had already ended, and his contract negotiations having failed).

Personal Life
Dan Bongino is married to Paula Andrea (Martinez), originally from Colombia. They have two daughters. The couple has also been involved in business ventures together—including home-based businesses like martial arts apparel, web design, and security/risk consultancy. They lived for many years in Severna Park, Maryland, before relocating to Palm City, Florida, around 2015.

Summary
Dan Bongino's career arc goes from law enforcement (NYPD, Secret Service including presidential protection) → unsuccessful political candidate → media commentator, author, podcaster → now Deputy Director of the FBI. He has built a devoted audience on the political right, is a prolific and polarizing voice, and now holds a major enforcement role under a Trump administration. He remains a figure who inspires both strong support and strong criticism, depending on political alignment.

1st Prayer

Oh, Heavenly Father, Lord of all that's true,
We humbly lift a prayer to You.
For leaders called to serve our land with might,
To guide our nation in the coming light.

We pray for Daniel John, for he is strong and bold,
A new chapter for his leadership to unfold.
And for his family, keep them safe and sound,
On Your good grace may they be always found.

And for Kashyap Pramod, with a mind so keen,
May wisdom guide him in this new scene.
Bless his loved ones, keep them well and near,
May they feel Your presence and have no fear.

We ask You, God, to light their path and way,
In this new role, on every single day.
Give them the courage to do what is right,
And be a beacon in the darkest night.

Their patriotism, a flame that will not cease,
For love of country and for lasting peace.
May they remember all who came before,
And serve the people whom they're fighting for.

With faith in Jesus Christ, Your Son and our King,
May they lead with honor, hope, and good things.
To act with integrity and moral grace,
And be a blessing in this sacred place.

Let their behavior be a shining star,
To lead the way, no matter where they are.
May their leadership be positive and bright,
A force for good, a beacon of Your light.

To build an FBI that stands with humble pride,
With justice, truth, and honesty as guide.
For America, we pray this work will be,
A blessing to our land, for all to see. Amen

Welcome

I confess that I have been a (too) harsh critic of the 2 new FBI leaders: Kashyap Pramod Patel (director, aka Kash) and Daniel John  Bongino (deputy director). Originally I was a fan of Bongino when he was doing his podcast but after a while i thought he became a little too "low" & sometimes too angry in his conversation style. So I eventually stopped listening to his podcast and my mood brightened. So my dampened opinion of Mr. Bongino continued into his new job as deputy director. I want positive optimistic leaders.

As for Mr Patel, I did not know much about him when he became nominated for FBI Director. I did hear he had been a guest on the Stu Peters show (hardcore extreme right who uses extreme language ) but he denied this during senate hearings. Then the new administration began and the Epstein fiasco began almost immediately. Neither Bongino nor Patel (henceforth "P & B") looked good on that first interview in which they tried to shut down any further discussion or speculation re the Epstein case or files etc. I jumped on the bandwagon to critique them harshly.

However, most recently after the tragic death of Charlie Kirk and subsequent involvement of the FBI and both of the leaders my mood and disposition has changed. I have rebuked myself for excessive criticism of P & B and am dedicating myself to encouraging them  and praying for them to do & be their very best. So this blog is dedicated to such.
